Do you see yourself walking into the forest?  Starting at the field of yellow poppies, this art quilt progresses to meadow grass then brings you into a forest of summer green trees.  Using 3-3/8" and 2" squares, I had the poppy field transition for large flowers at the bottom to smaller flowers then a meadow grass fabric.  The trees with their autumn leaves, complete the transition into the forest.  A dark brown fabric was used for the inner border and binding strip, and a green fabric  with gold leaves was used for the border.   Two small rings are hung on the back of the piece for hanging.  This piece tricks your eye from a distance......is it a painting or a quilt?  A step closer answers your question!  This wall hanging is sure to get rave reviews hung on your wall.
