Lake Tahoe Art Quilt Fabric Wall Hanging.  This art quilt is a beautiful representation of the gorgeous place where I live - Lake Tahoe!  Anyone who has visited Lake Tahoe can attest to the clarity of the water and the overall beauty of the Lake.  The water at the lake appears turquoise in spots, even though the depth at this point could be 25 feet or greater.  The change in colors from the shoreline to the middle of the lake is breathtaking.

I've tried to capture the essence of Lake Tahoe, using two inch squares of fabric, to give the viewer a shot from the Lake up through the trees to the mountains to the sky.  Small rocks are sewn into the water by the lake edge, giving the shoreline a 3-D look.  This is just a "slice" of the Lake, but it could be a slice anywhere around the 72 miles that comprises Lake Tahoe.  This treasure will surely bring back happy memories of your visit to my hometown of 36 years.  Small rings are sewn at the top back corners of the piece to hang.
